Despite more than 8,100 people signing petitions opposing the City of Peterborough’s plan to pave over much of Bonnerworth Park, the City insists on pushing ahead.
It’s now clear that an injunction is needed to stop the project from going forward. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. The City could start construction in the next few weeks.
In just over a week, the community has generously donated close to $30,000 to support the costs of launching legal action needed to save this much-loved park. We will need more to cover the legal costs of this campaign. Please donate as you are able:
